Marketing Solution Case Study – 9:45 AM
Mentor: Jay Morris, Marketing Consultant, Midwest Communications, Inc.

This session will take students through the brainstorm process to show them how different station departments such as programming, editorial, sales and more all contribute to creating solutions for clients using a multi-media approach. In this case-study type session the marketing objective will be provided-it will be up to you to think of creative ways to achieve your goal and make the client happy!

News Anchor Workshop – 11:00 AM
Mentor: Sheri Jones, News Anchor, WLNS-TV (Lansing)

The key to success in the news world is to be able to write something that makes the reader, viewer or listener want more. Content, and how content is written and presented, can make the difference.  This workshop will allow you to demonstrate your news writing skills and give you the opportunity to present your story.
