Ray Tejeda is a Vice President at iHeartMedia working with 150 markets on brand partnerships at events and experiential market properties. He is responsible for collaborating with the national sales teams and individual markets to drive sponsorship revenue across thousands of local events, national tent-poles, the iHeartRadio theaters, and in-market studio and performance lounge integrated assets.
Ray started his career on the record label side at Atlantic Records where he was in charge of planning/buying media and developing strategic marketing plans for Album releases and artist tours. He transitioned to the advertising agency world where
he spent more than seven years at two mid-sized shops (Pedone & Partners and Warren Kremer Paino). He moved up within both organizations to account director and a manager of the agency’s Brand Audit Group, pointing brands such as Ritz Carlton, Bulova, Hershey Entertainment, Ralph Lauren Polo Stores and Maine Tourism, to name a few.
Ray joined iHeartMedia 11 years ago as a senior Account Executive in New York at the world famous Z100, where he quickly moved into management of New York’s three largest station properties Z100, Power 105 and KTU. In his role in the market, he created many revenue generating events, while increasing the revenue of the station’s signature events (Powerhouse, KTUphoria and Jingle Ball) and leading a large team of Account Executives.
He has a proven track record of successfully monetizing and building events with a forward thinking mind in the event space.
