The Venue | Lansing Brewing Company

One of the first breweries in Michigan’s Capitol city, the Lansing Brewing Company supplied craft beer to artisans, laborers and tradesmen as they built our city over a century ago. Opened a year after Ransom E. Olds’ historic automobile ride down a city street in 1897, the Lansing Brewing Company welcomed its first customers.

The Entertainment | The Black Barn Band

It’s been said that once in a lifetime, a band comes along that changes your world. The Black Barn Band is not that band… but what they are is the best darn  cover band in Mid-Michigan.

Talented musicians and singers, great music, and even a bit of humor, highlight the Black Barn Band’s epic sets. Celebrating seven years together in 2019, the BBB features songs from seven decades of rock-n-roll including (but most certainly not limited to) The Rolling Stones, The Wood Brothers, The Grateful Dead, Matchbox 20, The Doors, Sublime, David Bowie, Radiohead, Joe Cocker, JJ Grey & Mofro, Joe Walsh, Pink Floyd, The Doobie Brothers, John Mayer, Leonard Cohen, The Decemberists, Neil Diamond, Lonely Island, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and so much more.

The Black Barn Band is a lot like Michigan Weather — If you don’t like it, wait 10 minutes and it will change. Whatever your mood, the BBB has you covered— and your fun-meter cranked to 11. And bonus for Great Lakes Media Show participants: BBB members Chad Munce and Peter Clay are both broadcasters in Lansing!!!
